Available Aluminum Alloys

1000 Series - Pure Aluminum

These alloys (≥ 99% aluminum) offer excellent thermal and electrical conductivity as well as outstanding corrosion resistance. They are commonly used for chemical processing equipment and heat exchangers where high mechanical strength is not required.

2000 Series - Aluminum-Copper Alloys (Avional)

Alloys such as 2017 and 2024 contain copper and are known for their high mechanical performance, making them suitable for aerospace and automotive applications. Heat treatment is required to achieve maximum strength, while weldability is limited.

3000 Series - Aluminum-Manganese Alloys

Good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance with moderate formability. Suitable for heat exchangers and non-critical industrial components.

4000 Series - Aluminum-Silicon Alloys

Characterized by excellent castability and weldability, these alloys are commonly used in brazing and welding applications.

5000 Series - Aluminum-Magnesium Alloys (Peraluman)

High corrosion resistance, particularly in marine environments, combined with good ductility and weldability without heat treatment. Ideal for piping systems, pressure vessels and aluminum body structures.

6000 Series - Aluminum-Silicon-Magnesium Alloys (Anticorodal)

Excellent machinability, weldability and workability. Widely used for extruded profiles, frames, bicycle components, welded structures and extrusion products. Heat treatment provides medium-to-high mechanical strength.

7000 Series - Aluminum-Zinc-Magnesium Alloys (Ergal)

Alloys such as 7075 (Ergal), with or without copper additions, are among the strongest aluminum alloys available, with tensile strengths reaching approximately 570 MPa. They are widely used in aerospace, motorsport, bicycle components, fasteners and highly stressed mechanical parts. Weldability is limited and material costs are higher, but these factors are offset by exceptional mechanical performance.

Quality Control and Dimensional Inspection

Each component can undergo dimensional inspections and quality control procedures to ensure precision, compliance and reliability in industrial applications.
